A radioactive gas cloud has escaped from a state nuclear research center, turning all people exposed to it into zombies – horrific, almost invincible creatures driven by a thirst for blood. They land in large transport planes at the airport of a major city and spread fear and terror among the population. The military is trying to gain control of them by any means possible, but its task seems impossible: the zombies, whose numbers are increasing rapidly, are not mindless creatures, but are just as intelligent as their pursuers.
